APT SKIDATA APPOINTS NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR TO STEER NEW PHASE OF DEVELOPMENT

Sean Dunstan has succeeded Dermot Murphy as Managing Director of APT Skidata, the UK‘s number one parking technology specialists. Dermot has moved on to the new role of Chief Executive Officer of APT Controls Group.

Sean's principal role will be to build on the company's relationships with major customers and strengths in key markets, as well as overseeing the launch of a number of new products and service initiatives scheduled for the next 12 months.

Prior to joining APT SkiData as Operations Director in 2008, Sean held various senior roles with Blick South Africa before its acquisition by Stanley Security Solutions. With Stanley he rose to become Field Operations Director, before transferring to the UK to manage the integration of field operations within the Stanley Security Solutions group of companies.

Commenting on the appointment, Dermot Murphy believes Sean's experience will be very important as the company looks to expand: “We have built a tremendous reputation for product and service excellence over the last few years,” he says, “and Sean has the practical, operations experience to drive the business through its next phase of development, as well as the business experience to see the company maintain and grow its market leading position.”
