    2. There is much more to this book than I could hope to put here. This is a great example of how much of the West's classic literature was saved after the fall of Rome. The Church did much to destroy Western literature, science, etc. Safe to say, Muslim scholars did much to save these works that were stored in the libraries in Espania.

    3. Very interesting mix of Averroes philosophy with Plato's republic. You can see his Islamic side but also his respect for ultimate truths.
