    1. Utterly fantastic! It is pure joy to read something this good! "Poison Garden" has all of the ingredients for an amazing paranormal, Victorian era, steampunk novel. The story is part mystery, fantasy, light horror, comedy, romance, and at many times is downright creepy. It's truly delicious!Elizabeth Watasin captures the language, settings, and time in such a way that you can taste them. The mystery is intriguing and, even if you think you twig to what's going on, you're still in for surprises. [...]

    2. I feel the sudden need to break out the Roundup and tackle the weeds I've been ignoring. As usual, this author is crazy imaginative , i admit though, sometimes my brain just doesn't want to do the work that following the intelligent narrative requires.

    3. Wow! You will never ever look at plants the same way again after reading this. It is a fascinating, sometimes creepy read! Elizabeth Watasin absolutely rocked! Go read!!

    4. 2017 Rainbow Awards Honorable Mention: Poison Garden (An Elle Black Penny Dread #2)1) A very wonderful read. I really enjoyed it from start to end. It is quirky and funny and the element of surprise is always behind the corner. I really liked particularly the writing style that put me into the story after a few sentences and left me there till the very end. Well done!

    5. Great storyI enjoyed this story of the Mrs blacks. I thought the combination of Victorian England and science fiction well done.
